Summary:
The USS Vanguard embarks on its maiden voyage.. Assigned to the turbulent edge of Federation space near the Tholian border, the Vanguard’s mission is simple on paper: chart a volatile region of the Dran’kora Expanse, reestablish contact with a lost science outpost, and demonstrate Starfleet’s renewed presence in the sector.
But as the crew settles in, tensions with the Tholians escalate following the sudden appearance of an unidentified spatial rift near contested space. As strange signals echo from beyond the anomaly, the line between scientific curiosity and military readiness begins to blur.
Caught between diplomacy, discovery, and defense, the Vanguard must navigate its first test — and uncover whether this new frontier offers opportunity... or danger.
